2024 Game Day Team

The Crackers are happy to announce that Tripp Upton will serve as the Public Address Announcer and Game Day Host for the 2024 Season. Upton filled in for several games in the 2023 season and is excited to be part of the game day experience in 2024. "Can't wait to be back doing games this Summer for the Crackers!" 

Upton is a journalism student at Auburn University and has done announcing and PA work for several teams including the Crackers and numerous sports for North Cobb Christian School in Kennesaw, Georgia. Welcome back Tripp! 

Chase Niekro is a 2024 graduate from Kennesaw State University, where he earned his bachelor’s in Sport Management. Last year he spent his summer as a Membership and Development Intern at the National Baseball Hall of Fame in Cooperstown, NY. Most recently he was an assistant pitching coach at Lanier High School.
